Where the GDPR applies, GHCG processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 applies where relevant. Other applicable data protection requirements may apply depending on the processing concerned.

2. Data, Sources, Purposes and Legal Bases

Depending on the relationship, GHCG may process identity and contact details; professional history, qualifications, CV and publicly available professional information; role preferences, availability, remuneration and right-to-work information; interview, assessment and reference information; and correspondence or client relationship records. Sources may include the individual, clients, referees, authorised representatives, Zoho Recruit, professional networks and lawful public professional sources.

We use relevant data to respond to enquiries, provide executive search, recruitment or advisory services, identify and assess talent, manage searches and appointments, maintain necessary records, protect proportionate legitimate interests (such as identifying and approaching suitable professionals for searches, managing client relationships and protecting GHCG's legal position) and meet legal obligations. The legal basis depends on the context and may be steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, a legal obligation or consent where required.

GHCG may contact candidates about relevant professional opportunities where lawful. Optional marketing or thought-leadership communications may be opted out of at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in the communication or by contacting GHCG. Opting out of marketing does not affect participation in recruitment processes.

3. Candidate Confidentiality and Recruitment Decisions

Candidate information is handled confidentially and disclosed only where relevant and lawful. GHCG does not submit a candidate’s CV or profile to a hiring client without the candidate’s prior knowledge and appropriate authorisation. Candidates who apply through the Career Portal consent to the processing of their data for the recruitment process and relevant future opportunities, and may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting info@globalhumancapitalgroup.com. For professionals GHCG approaches directly, processing is based on legitimate interests; they may object at any time.

Candidate selection, shortlisting and recruitment decisions involve human review and professional judgement.

4. External Services

Applications are made through the external Zoho Recruit Career Portal after an intentional click. Zoho is not embedded in this website and no Zoho script loads before that choice. Information submitted there is also governed by the notices presented by Zoho and the relevant recruitment process.

With consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website use and improve content. GA4 may process online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, interactions and technical events, and may set analytics cookies. Google provides the analytics service and processes information in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy documentation. GHCG does not use Google Ads, remarketing, advertising audiences, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity. External links, including professional networks and Amazon, are governed by their own privacy practices after the visitor chooses to leave this website.

5. Sharing, International Transfers and Retention

Where necessary and lawful, data may be shared with authorised GHCG personnel and consultants, relevant hiring clients, referees, professional advisers, technology, email, analytics and hosting providers, Zoho Recruit, or competent authorities. Access is limited to what is needed and GHCG does not sell personal data.

International work and service providers may involve processing outside the country where data was collected. Where required, GHCG uses applicable lawful transfer mechanisms and proportionate safeguards, including, where applicable, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, taking into account the nature of the information, the status and relevance of the recruitment or business relationship, applicable legal or contractual requirements, limitation periods and the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Retention is periodically reviewed and data is deleted or anonymised when no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations.

6. Website Technologies and Security

Analytics is denied by default. Google Analytics loads only after the visitor selects ‘Accept all’. Rejecting analytics prevents the Google script and analytics requests from loading. The choice is saved in the browser and can be changed or withdrawn at any time through ‘Privacy options’ in the website footer; withdrawal stops future analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies set by this website. After consent, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies such as _ga and the GA4 property cookie used for this website’s measurement. This website does not use advertising or marketing cookies, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds, CV forms or a Zoho iframe. Limited session storage may also support technical navigation and application functionality.

Fonts are self-hosted. Hosting and security infrastructure may process limited request, IP address, browser and device information to deliver, maintain and protect the website. GHCG applies proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Rights, Choices, Contact and Changes

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, individuals may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a competent supervisory authority. Lawful exceptions may apply and identity verification may be required. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Analytics consent can be accepted or rejected when first visiting the website, and withdrawn or changed at any time through ‘Privacy options’ in the website footer.
